Readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine have named Disney’s newest luxury resort hotel, the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, as the top resort hotel in the Orlando market.

Walt Disney World grabbed the top two spots in the poll — with Disney’s Wilderness Lodge placing second — and six of the Top 10 hotels in the annual rankings.

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando opened two years ago in Walt Disney World’s northern region, opening a new phase of development for the theme park resort that had clustered most of its previous resorts and hotels to the east, south or around the Magic Kingdom theme park.

In the rankings, released Tuesday by the magazine, the Reunion Resort & Spa in Kissimmee placed third; the Waldorf Astoria Resort Orlando of Lake Buena Vista, fourth; the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, fifth; The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, sixth; Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort seventh; the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate, in Kissimmee, eighth; Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, ninth; and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, 10th.

Elsewhere, the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Palm Beach was named Florida’s best resort hotel on the Atlantic coast; the The Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande was named the best on the Gulf of Mexico; and the The Moorings Village & Spa in Islamorada was named the best in the Florida Keys.
