Coaster firm S&S Worldwide has revealed images of a new steel roller coaster and drop tower that appears to be heading to the heart of Orlando’s International Drive tourist corridor.
The surprise announcement during IAAPA Expo was a video showing the unbuilt attractions in front of the Mango’s restaurant and night club near the corner of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road.

That video dropped with no other information or details, including when construction might begin or when the attractions may open.
Coaster fans may recognize that the coaster depicted in the video looks similar to another S&S creation, GaleForce, a compact triple-launch coaster that opened in 2017 at Playland’s Castaway Cove, an amusement park on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey.
Neither S&S nor Mango’s has made statements to the press about the project.
The ride’s placement on I-Drive may evoke memories of the canceled Skyscraper roller coaster, a planned 500-foot-tall coaster wrapping around an observation tower. That project, which also involved Mango’s owner Joshua Wallack, never came to fruition after its 2014 announcement, though Wallack did indicate to GrowthSpotter in August 2021 that he was still interested in building a coaster on the property.
