Disney CEO Bob Chapek said recent theme park successes reflect more than just "pent-up demand."
The Anaheim City Council will consider a 2% tax on admissions to venues with capacity of 15,000+, which includes Disneyland's two theme parks.
The revamp will open at both Disneyland and Disney World.
Chapek's new deal starts July 1 and runs through 2025.
Both Disneyland and Disney World have been covered by no-fly zones since 2003.
The Mandalorian, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand will also begin appearing in the land.
Genie+ and Lightning Lane have led to a 40% jump in per capita guest spending compared to 2019.
