Fans of the movie “Cars,” can get a sneak peak at the third film during a four-day promotional stop at Disney Springs.
The “Road to the Races” nationwide tour kicks off Thursday and will run through Sunday at Disney Springs, according to Darcy Clark, Disney Springs marketing manager.
Fans can get photographed with three life-size character cars, including Lightning McQueen and new characters Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm. They can take part in a racer pit crew tire-changing activity and sample high-octane smoothies at the Dole Refueling Station. Mattel will present an interactive play area and NASCAR share the history and science behind their iconic brand.
The third installment of the “Cars” film franchise is set to open in theatres on June 16th in 3D.
‘The Disney Springs tour stop will be in the former bus loop near Once Upon a Toy. Hours will be noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
After Disney Springs, the tour will move on to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and Bayfront Park in Miami before hitting 24 other cities.
