Marriott International’s luxury brand is planning to build a second Orlando hotel near Epcot.

DCS Investments of Palm Beach, which developed the Bella Collina golf club and housing development in Montverde, has filed plans to build a 16-story JW Marriott on 10.6 acres near Wyndham’s Bonnet Creek Resort and south of Disney World’s Epcot, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The JW Marriott Orlando Grand Lakes is attached to a Ritz-Carlton on Central Florida Parkway, just 11 miles from Epcot.

JW Marriotts are a higher tier than traditional Marriott hotels with finer bed linens, fancier restaurants and often located in popular destinations. The chain was named after John Willard Marriott, founder of Marriott Corporation. It has 75 locations worldwide.

The new 516-room JW Marriott would be at the corner of Epcot Center Drive and Interstate 4. DCS bought the property for $2.2 million in 2013, according to the Sentinel.
