The annual IAAPA Expo in Orlando brings the amusement and theme park industry every November to make deals and reveal more details about their upcoming projects — especially the trains of new roller coasters opening in the coming year.
Theme Park Tribune was on hand for all the big announcements on Tuesday. First up in the morning was the unveiling of the lead train for AlpenFury, the Premier Rides launch coaster opening at Canada’s Wonderland in 2025.

The booth for Swiss coaster makers Bolliger & Mabillard is displaying one of the vehicles for Rapterra, the launched wing coaster being built at Kings Dominion in Virginia.

Italian manufacturer Zamperla revealed it would be building a new family launch coaster themed around the “Naruto” anime series for Parc Spirou in France. The ride is scheduled to open in 2026.
Hersheypark didn’t have a new coaster to unveil, but rather gave the first look at Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, the S&S Sansei Technologies Screamin’ Swing opening next year. The swing ride will be the tallest of its ride model in the world, according to Hersheypark, at 137 feet tall and hitting a top speed of 68 miles per hour.

That rounds out the big coaster and ride reveals from IAAPA Expo. If you happen to visit the event — and you probably work in the industry in that case — you’ll find a lot more than coaster trains.
Every level of the amusement industry is represented, as is just about amusement-adjacent subcontractor or vendor you can imagine.
